Make people more capable.

A product should help someone understand what is happening and act with confidence. Advice should help a founder make a better decision, not make them feel that good judgment belongs permanently to someone else.

We design for people who may be distracted, tired, unfamiliar with the system, or using it differently from us. Clear language, accessible interaction, meaningful choices, and a way to recover are part of respecting their circumstances.

Not every extra step is a flaw. Confirmation can be valuable before an irreversible action. An explanation can be worth the space it occupies. The question is whether the effort protects the person or merely serves the system at their expense.

We also make room for warmth, beauty, and small moments of delight. Usefulness does not require sterility. But expression should support the experience rather than demand attention someone came to spend elsewhere.

In Continuity, this means making our reasoning visible, listening carefully to disagreement, and being honest about where our knowledge ends. The relationship should strengthen the founder's ability to see and choose.

*Does this leave the person with more understanding, choice, and control?*
